SIXMOREVODKA is a Berlin based outsourcing partner for the entertainment industry with a focus on 2D artwork and art related services.

With an international client list from movies to video games to comics, SIXMOREVODKA is one of the most prolific and experienced young studios on the market. For aspiring artists & art students SIXMOREVODKA offers several small weekend seminars at our studio throughout the year. These seminars are a window into our day-to-day job; they include basics that are needed at the entry level into the industry, as well as in depth information from our team of professionals. Previous seminars have covered such topics as ‘contrast theory’, ‘symbolism in formative media’, as well as live demonstrations in the areas of ‘cover and concept design’, ‘insights into composition’, and ‘business and freelancer pricing information’.

SYMPOSIUMS

SIXMOREVODKA in conjunction with its industry partner MASSIVE BLACK organize and hold large-scale art symposiums worldwide.

These events attract hundreds of art students, artists, beginners and professionals alike to come to these 4-day festivals and learn from the finest hand-selected group of industry veterans what it takes to break into the industry, learn from their applied knowledge, watch live demonstrations, participate in traditional and digital life drawing and painting sessions and listen to behind the scenes stories. The Symposiums are a stepping-stone for many aspiring artists to break into the industry since SIXMOREVODKA and MASSIVE BLACK are opening the doors to professional headhunters and talent scouts to search for the next breakout talent on the spot.

The artists of SIXMOREVODKA have been successful teachers and lecturers at several schools and universities such as the FILMAKADEMIE LUDWIGSBURG in Germany, or the SCOULA INTERNATONALE DI COMICS in Reggio Emilia, Italy. SIXMOREVODKA TURNS INTO A CORPORATION- 21.06.2012

As of the 19th of June 2012, the sole proprietorship and outsourcing label SIXMOREVODKA has become incorporated, splitting the SIXMOREVODKA brand into 2 separate entities, the SIXMOREVODKA studio GmbH and SIXMOREVODKA production GmbH.

Jelena Kevic-Djurdjevic becomes President of the SIXMOREVODKA studio GmbH, Till Samer becomes President of the SIXMOREVODKA production GmbH. Marko Djurdjevic stays the Owner/Founder and Art Director of both entities.

SIXMOREVODKA studio GmbH will continue to deliver the highest quality asset work for video games, movies, and other entertainment media that it has been known for.

“SIXMOREVODKA has never been in a better position than now, to expand it’s business to a corporate level and allow for our ideas to grow and become dominant on the market. The SIXMOREVODKA outsourcing wing has established itself as one of the premier outsourcing studios to go to. Till Samer, who has been the successful national art representative of Marko Djurdjevic and other major names in the Visual Arts industry, assumes his responsibilities as the new President of SIXMOREVODKA production GmbH immediately.

SIXMOREVODKA NEWSFLASH – 15.09.2011

SIXMOREVODKA keeps on growing!
Ville Kinnunen, concept artist for Bioware’s Dragon Age is switching positions and joining our team in Berlin as a Senior Concept Artist come November 1st. We’re incredibly excited to get such a high end professional to join our already existing power units.
Hailing from Finland Ville Kinnunen initially broke into the industry by designing characters for Funcom’s Age Of Conan in Norway. Still a young lad at the time his brilliant character design skills started shining through when he breathed life into the costumes and armors of Conan and his many enemies. After Funcom, he took his skills to the next level working for Bioware in Edmonton, Canada, where he was tasked to embellish the Dragon Age universe and proved himself once more an invaluable team asset.
His next big step is our Studio in Berlin (the poor guy has to move such vast distances) where his character design abilities are going to be needed for SIXMOREVODKA’s huge workload. LIFE DRAWING SESSIONS NOW EVERY THURSDAY

Due to the enormous reception and feedback we’ve gotten in the past few months, our team has decided to amp up the volume and hold our Life Drawing Sessions on a weekly basis- every Thursday evening. We have open spots every now and then, so feel free to apply for a seat if you want to brush up your skills.
